No. Tawasul is an independent platform built by Nkelani Studio that uses the official WhatsApp Business Platform APIs provided by Meta. It is not made by, affiliated with, or endorsed by WhatsApp or Meta.
A Meta developer app, Tech Provider (or Solution Partner) onboarding with Meta, and a verified WhatsApp Business Account. Until that onboarding is complete, Tawasul runs in a clearly labelled development mode that simulates the connection and never sends real messages.
No. WhatsApp requires documented opt-in before you message someone, marketing messages must use templates approved by WhatsApp, and contacts can opt out at any time. Tawasul records consent source and time, and honours unsubscribe requests automatically.
Your Tawasul plan covers the platform. WhatsApp conversation fees are billed separately by Meta based on current category pricing and are passed through at cost — the dashboard shows your usage so nothing is a surprise.
